2011Established in 2011, the White Nights Marathon is now 15 years old. From its first edition in St. Petersburg, it has evolved into a race that reflects the character of its host region in Russia.
The White Nights Marathon takes runners through the historic streets of St. Petersburg during the magical season when the sun barely sets. The course loops through the city center, passing iconic landmarks including the Hermitage Museum, Palace Square, and the Peter and Paul Fortress, while runners experience the unique phenomenon of near-24-hour daylight.
Cool and refreshing early summer weather with the famous White Nights phenomenon providing nearly continuous daylight. Light rain is possible, but conditions are generally favorable for running.
