2006Established in 2006, the Barcelona Half Marathon is now 20 years old. From its first edition in Barcelona, it has evolved into a race that reflects the character of its host region in Spain.

Starting in the historic Plaça Reial in the Gothic Quarter, the course winds through Barcelona's most iconic neighborhoods including Las Ramblas, the Waterfront, and Montjuïc before finishing at the Olympic Stadium. The route is primarily flat, hugging the Mediterranean coastline and offering stunning urban scenery with minimal elevation changes.
