2011Established in 2011, the Tbilisi Marathon is now 15 years old. From its first edition in Tbilisi, it has evolved into a race that reflects the character of its host region in Georgia.

The Tbilisi Marathon showcases Georgia's capital with a scenic loop course through the historic Old Town, across the Mtkvari River, and through modern neighborhoods including the Saburtalo district. Runners experience the blend of ancient architecture and contemporary urban development while traversing relatively flat sections with some gentle rolling hills.
