The Mumbai Marathon is a predominantly flat course that showcases the city's iconic landmarks and coastal beauty. Starting and finishing at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, the route winds through South Mumbai's historic neighborhoods, along the Marine Drive promenade with Arabian Sea views, and through the bustling commercial districts. The course is mostly sheltered by buildings in downtown areas, providing some relief from the tropical heat.
