The Tasmania Half Marathon winds through Hobart's iconic waterfront and inner suburbs, starting near the Derwent River with scenic views of kunanyi/Mount Wellington. The course takes runners along the Hobart Waterfront, through the historic Battery Point precinct, and finishes at Princes Park near the city centre. Rolling hills provide moderate challenge with rewarding views of Tasmania's natural beauty throughout.
Mild autumn weather with moderate temperatures and relatively low humidity. Light rain is possible but generally pleasant running conditions with cool morning temperatures ideal for distance running.
