The Kassel Marathon is a certified, scenic loop course that winds through the historic Kassel region and nearby countryside. The course features rolling terrain through parks, along the Fulda River, and through charming towns with moderate elevation changes suitable for most runners. Runners enjoy views of the Wilhelmshöhe Palace and encounter well-supported aid stations throughout the certified route.
Pleasant late spring conditions with mild temperatures ideal for marathon running. Occasional rain possible but generally favorable weather with low wind.
