The Bloemfontein Marathon traverses the scenic highlands of Free State province with a predominantly rolling course through the city and surrounding areas. The route passes through historic neighborhoods and offers views of the high veld landscape at approximately 1,300m elevation. Well-supported with aid stations throughout the certified course.
October brings pleasant spring weather with warm daytime temperatures and cool mornings. Low humidity and minimal rain make it ideal running conditions in the Southern Hemisphere.
