The Belgrade Marathon follows a scenic loop course through the city's historic neighborhoods and along the Danube River. Runners experience the contrast between Serbia's capital with its Ottoman and Austro-Hungarian architecture, passing through Zemun with its charming cobblestone streets and the iconic Gardoš Tower overlooking the confluence of the Danube and Sava rivers. The course includes sections through New Belgrade and returns via riverside parklands.
