2009Established in 2009, the Olympus Marathon is now 17 years old. From its first edition in Litochoro, it has evolved into a race that reflects the character of its host region in Greece.

Starting from sea level in Litochoro, runners ascend steadily through traditional villages and ancient trails toward Mount Olympus, the mythical home of the gods. The course features significant elevation gain with breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea and the Thessalian plains, culminating near the sacred peak of Olympus.
