The Chengdu Marathon features a scenic loop course through the heart of Sichuan's capital, starting and finishing at Tianfu Square. Runners traverse the city's modern business district, cross the Funan River multiple times, and pass through historic neighborhoods showcasing ancient temples and traditional architecture. The largely flat course follows dedicated running paths and city streets with minimal elevation change, making it accessible to runners of all levels.
