Runners experience authentic Balinese culture with warm hospitality from locals, though the route features rolling hills and humidity that challenge participants. The course is well-organized with support stations every 3-5km featuring water, energy drinks, and tropical fruits.
August is part of Bali's dry season with moderate humidity and warm temperatures. Afternoon tropical showers are possible but morning races typically avoid the heaviest rainfall. Strong sun exposure requires sun protection.
