The Bahrain Marathon features a fast, flat course primarily around the Manama waterfront and through downtown Bahrain, taking runners past the Pearl Monument and along coastal promenades. The route is largely loop-based with minimal elevation change, making it ideal for fast times. The December timing ensures cooler Gulf temperatures compared to summer months.
