The Pikes Peak Marathon ascends nearly 2,600 meters from Manitou Springs to the summit of Pikes Peak at 14,115 feet, then descends the entire route. Runners experience dramatic elevation changes and challenging alpine terrain with stunning Rocky Mountain views. The route follows Barr Trail, one of Colorado's most iconic hiking paths.
