Established in 2008, the Lanzarote Marathon is now 18 years old. From its first edition in Costa Teguise, it has evolved into a race that reflects the character of its host region in Spain.

Volcanic Ground

The Lanzarote Marathon crosses terrain shaped by volcanic forces — ancient lava flows, craters, and rock formations that remind you the earth beneath your feet is very much alive. It's an otherworldly backdrop for 42.195km of effort.
