The Lagos City Marathon features a scenic loop course starting and finishing at Lekki Toll Gate, taking runners through the heart of Lagos including the Lekki-Epe Expressway, Ikoyi, Victoria Island, and back along the Lekki Peninsula. The predominantly flat, fast course is ideal for personal records and showcases the modern infrastructure and vibrant culture of Nigeria's largest city.
Warm and humid with early morning coolness. February is part of Lagos's dry season with minimal rainfall expected. Runners should prepare for heat and humidity typical of West African coastal conditions.
