The Kuwait Marathon features a primarily flat course through Kuwait City with sections along the Arabian Gulf waterfront. Runners experience urban and coastal landscapes starting and finishing near the iconic Kuwait Towers. The route is well-supported and takes advantage of Kuwait's infrastructure with minimal elevation change.
February offers mild winter conditions in Kuwait with comfortable temperatures ideal for distance running. Occasional rain is possible but typically light, making it one of the best seasons for marathoning in the Gulf region.

Launched in 2015, the Kuwait Marathon is one of the newer races on the circuit. Despite its youth, it has quickly built a reputation in Kuwait City, attracting runners drawn to its flat roads and scenic routes and the energy of an event still finding its identity.
