The MCM course is a scenic point-to-point route starting at Iwo Jima Memorial and finishing at the Marine Corps War Memorial, passing through iconic Washington DC landmarks including the National Mall, monuments, and memorial sites. The course features relatively gentle rolling terrain with two significant climbs near the start and a final iconic finish.
