This unique marathon follows the UNESCO World Heritage Hadrian's Wall from Wallsend in the east to Bowness-on-Solway in the west, tracing one of Britain's most iconic Roman monuments. Runners experience historic sites, dramatic Northumberland countryside, and river crossings along this 84-mile ancient frontier. The route combines road and converted tow paths with moderate rolling hills offering stunning views of northern England.
