The Auckland Half Marathon features a scenic loop course that departs from the waterfront and takes runners through some of Auckland's most iconic neighbourhoods. The route passes through the City Centre, climbs towards Mount Eden area for views over the city and harbour, then descends through residential areas before returning to the coast. Largely flat to rolling terrain with a few technical climbs but nothing extreme.
