2010Established in 2010, the Ulaanbaatar Marathon is now 16 years old. From its first edition in Ulaanbaatar, it has evolved into a race that reflects the character of its host region in Mongolia.

The Ulaanbaatar Marathon features a scenic loop course through Mongolia's capital, starting and finishing in central Sukhbaatar Square. The route traverses through urban areas, parks, and the surrounding steppe landscape with gentle rolling hills. Runners experience views of Bogd Khan Mountain and pass through key landmarks of the city.
