2003Established in 2003, the Beirut Marathon is now 23 years old. From its first edition in Beirut, it has evolved into a race that reflects the character of its host region in Lebanon.

The Beirut Marathon starts from the Cite Sportive and winds through the coastal districts, passing through downtown Beirut, the Corniche, and ending at the UNESCO-listed Cedars Square. The course offers stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea and traverses both the rebuilt city center and scenic waterfront neighborhoods, making it one of the most picturesque marathons in the Middle East.
