This Arctic marathon circumnavigates Longyearbyen with stunning views of snow-capped mountains, fjords, and the Arctic landscape. Runners experience midnight sun conditions with unique terrain ranging from coastal flats to steep mountain passes. The course is challenging but rewildingly beautiful, offering an unforgettable experience at 78°N latitude.
Cool Arctic conditions with nearly continuous daylight (midnight sun). Wind and rain are common; temperatures hover just above freezing with potential for sudden weather changes.
