The Porto Alegre Marathon follows a scenic loop course through the heart of Brazil's southernmost capital city, featuring waterfront sections along the Guaíba Lake and passes through historic neighborhoods and parks. The course is relatively flat with gentle rolling hills, making it accessible for most runners while offering beautiful urban and natural landscapes.
June is late autumn in the Southern Hemisphere, with mild and pleasant temperatures ideal for running. Occasional rain is possible, but conditions are generally cool and comfortable with low humidity compared to summer months.
